By now my heart was pounding so loudly that I thought he might be able to hear. Being near him made my thoughts all jumbled up but I wasn't going to accept that, especially not to him. The Multiverse is an interesting thing. Infinite worlds, infinite possibilities. Some worlds may have floating blocks with coins inside, some may have dangerous aliens roaming space, others may have magical sword fighters as the norm, and the list goes on. But one day, weird portals and weirder drones started appearing across most, if not, all of the worlds, causing chaos and dragging people into different realities. Can a ragtag group of characters who are almost entirely different from each other save the day and the ENTIRE MULTIVERSE from these enigmatic beings with unknown motivations, or will all of existence come to an end? Time jumps erratically-sometimes forward, sometimes backward, sometimes sideways. Characters forget who they are mid-scene and start behaving like someone else. The narrative is interrupted by "memory glitches"-pages with corrupted text, missing words, or surreal imagery. The climax is a bidding war where the protagonist tries to buy back their childhood, but someone else already owns it.
