He turned around so I could see his face as his mouth slowly formed into a lopsided half smile. This was all some joke to him. some sort of dark twisted game he was playing.

Nora Woods normal high school life has been ripped away by the passing of her dad. After the death of Nora's father, her mother was left in such a state of shock that she moved her and Nora back to her mother's house. Nora is now left with going into her senior year at a Lakeview High, the rival school to her old high school, trying to navigate moving, going to a new school, trying to keep her friends and boyfriend, who she isn't entirely sure she even wants to keep, and to add on top of all of that; Jack Hughes, the cocky hockey player who lives next door.
