"Are you home?" "No." Joshua's irritated voice responds. "I'll be down in five." "I just told you I'm not-" she hangs up before sitting up, tying her robe tight, and walking out of the house. She walks outside, down the stairs, and knocks on the front door. She waits for a few seconds before banging on the door. "I'M COMING!" Shua's voice shouts from inside. He opens the door. "What do you want?" She pushes past him and walks into his house, immediately making herself comfortable. She looks around a bit. "Wow." "What do you want from me, thief? I have things to do." "Yeah, whatever." She nods while continuing to examine his house. "Your choice in, color scheme is a little off, but I can work with that." "I'm sorry, what?" She rubs her forehead, a bit annoyed by the situation. "I need your help." "And what makes you think I'd help a thief like you?" "I'm not the thief, you are!" "Whatever, thief." She groans. Her thoughts begin to run wild. "I absolutely hate Hong Jisoo with every bone in my body. He's annoying, narcisistic, knows every little way to get under my skin. I despise him." She thinks to herself. Shua leans up against the wall, waiting for her to explain why she practically barged into his house, uninvited. "I hate him, I hate him, I ABSOLUTELY HATE HIM. So the fact that I am actually depending on him right now, makes me want to rip my hair out." She takes in a deep breath. "But as unexpected as it is, he's my only way out of this." "So, are you just gonna sit there and look stupid? Or..." Shua says with the biggest amount of sass in his voice. He watches as she takes in a deep breath. "Okay, so you're just here to look stu-" "I need you to date me." Shua nearly chokes on his own saliva. "WHAT!?" [ Most events, background stories, some characters, and history are fictional! ON HOLD Dust floated in the air like snow, silent witnesses to her trembling breath. Song Suhyun stood center stage, hands clenched at her sides, her eyes shut as though bracing herself against the weight of every headline, every whisper, every betrayal. But when the music swelled, another voice joined hers..bright, unwavering, impossibly warm. One of the best vocalist in kpop, Lee Seokmin's voice. he didn't let her falter. he didn't let her fall. The audience erupted, but in that blinding, thunderous moment, it wasn't the crowd she heard. It was him. singing beside her, carrying her, as if saying, you're not alone anymore. For the first time in that years, the stage didn't feel like a battlefield. It felt like home. And this, Suhyun thought with a quiet, tear stained smile, was where her real story began.
