Thrown headfirst into Kaisei's volatile racing scene, Rae crashes into the orbit of the Akuma Zoku-a Yakuza-adjacent syndicate run by the ruthless and polished Kaito, whose R33 GT-R is the stuff of local legend. Their first battle ends with Rae humiliated and her car limping home, but a spark is lit.

As Rae rebuilds-alongside a ragtag crew based out of a subterranean garage known only as the Undertrack-she learns the art of drifting, tuning, and surviving. She forges fast bonds with racers like Ichiko, the chaotic sweetheart with a rustbucket 180SX, and Jin, a former Zoku runner turned outlaw wrench with more secrets than tools. Together, they race, hustle, and even steal to stay in the game-resurrecting an engine-less Toyota Soarer into a street-slaying bruiser.

But as the Zoku vanish into the shadows-for now-one thing's clear: Rae McKinnon isn't just some rookie with a chip on her shoulder. She's the new name tearing through the streets of Kaisei.
