She bakes cupcakes by dawn, teaches toddlers by day-and hides a lonely heart behind a perfect smile. Savannah Carter is a 25-year-old daycare owner, teacher, and bakery queen hustling to keep her dream alive in Los Angeles. Her days are filled with sticky fingers, oven timers, and overdue invoices-leaving no room for romance or rest. That is, until one spontaneous girls' night out leads to an unforgettable one-night stand with Jace Kingston, a magnetic and wildly successful athletic trainer known for his sculpted body and silent strength. Savannah never planned on seeing him again. No strings, no attachments. But when a missed period turns into a life-changing test result, her carefully built world begins to crumble-and the man she thought she left behind suddenly reappears, tangled in her present in ways she never expected. Now Savannah must choose between protecting the life she built on her own... or risking everything to let someone in. Love was never part of the recipe, but fate has its own flavor.

The Deal

"Promise me," he whispered before he looked at her. His eyes were searching her light brown eyes and was once again lost in the beauty. "Let's make a deal. That we stay together. That we stay a family." She raised an eyebrow at him. "I'm not crazy, Jay. I love you so much and I can't imagine my life without you in it. You have made me and Lara so happy and this is our little family." For a few seconds, the room was silent. Neil heard the clock tick and as each second went, he could have sworn it was slower than than the last. Finally, she smiled, being both her hands behind his head. "As long as you promise to love me like you have then I'm all set," she whispered as she leaned in to kiss him. "So that's a deal then? If things get bad we try our best to sort it out until we know there's nothing else we can do?" "Sounds like a good deal to me," she said with a laugh before leaning in for a kiss again. - When Neil moves to a new flat with his daughter Lara, everything seems good. JJ, his neighbour, and him are quick to fall in love and when everything seems perfect, Lara's mother comes into the picture. Seven years after abandoning her daughter, she now wants custody and will do anything she can. Will the deal stay intact or will the custody battle prove to be too much for their relationship?
