Anna Shumate is broke, unemployed, and completely winging adulthood from a New York City townhouse she shares with her friends. When everyone bails on her for the night, she does what any desperate extrovert would do: crash an exclusive art gala for the free wine using an old membership card left behind by a former roommate. She's almost caught and denied entry... until a cold, striking stranger slides in beside her and pretends to be her plus-one.

Enter Sabrina Quesada: a fiercely driven artist with a sharp tongue and no patience for roadblocks, including Anna. But the universe (and the internet) has other plans. After their pretend couple act goes unexpectedly viral, Anna and Sabrina are stuck keeping up appearances for connections, clout, and increasingly complicated feelings.

What starts as a one-night con spirals into a slow-burn romance neither of them saw coming. After all, the art of pretending is easy... until it starts to feel real.

Ju Garcia hasn't ever felt the need to become entangled with another romantically, much less hop into bed with them. In fact, she's never even felt attraction in the true consistence of the word her entire life and now that she is nearly thirty-two, she has even less interest, focusing on the career she loves. However, things can't always go the way they're planned and when a comic book creator, Hayden Weller, signs up with Ju's studio, things begin to stir within herself and the call to romance may just take the helm. Hayden Weller is a geek through-and-through, wearing it like a badge of honor her entire life. She also happens to be a creator herself, working with her best friend to create a highly decorated and critically acclaimed webtoon. Still, that project is over as is their previous contract, so they begin interviewing potential companies and run into a woman with whom Hayden is immediately taken. However, Hayden has a dark past filled with regret, abuse and addiction and fears her own emotions may end everything she has worked for in chaos. Fear controls many aspects of people's lives. Some defeat it, while others internal struggle is endless, but can Ju and Hayden overcome their inner demons and rise above? Better and perhaps together...? "If I were able to steal the key to your heart, I would only use it when it needs some love... but it's hard since we're apart-it's got me wondering." - If You Were Mine, Minova ༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶ In the flickering warmth of an old coffee shop-where the record player skips just enough to feel vintage and the air always smells like cinnamon and nostalgia-Arabella exists quietly. She's just a girl with chipped polish, thrifted sweaters, and a heart that loves a little too much in silence. Her days pass in a blur of steamed milk, soft indie music, and the same familiar faces. Until Sabrina Carpenter walks in. Velvet voice, honeyed eyes, famous smile-the kind of girl who belongs on billboards, not in a place like The Violet Hour. But she returns. Again and again. And Arabella starts to wonder if maybe the universe isn't as cruel as it seems. They speak in glances at first, in scribbled lyrics on receipts, in fingers that brush too long when coffee is handed over. Time slows. The air shifts. It's soft, but it's burning. And somewhere between espresso shots and midnight rain, Arabella falls-not just for Sabrina, but for the idea that maybe she could be someone's muse too. ༄ a story of slow touches, aching tension, & everything unsaid. ༄ a little broken, a little brave. ✦ content warnings: 18+ - smut, heavy yearning, soft cussing, public teasing, artistic angst, and just enough heartbreak to make the sweetness sting. ✧ aesthetic moodboard: ❝ foggy glass / lipstick on collars / tangled headphones / journal pages with hearts / whispered secrets / candlelight & cigarettes ❞ ༶•┈┈୨♡୧┈┈•༶ "If I could go outside and take you out, we could talk all night-you're all I think about." - If You Were Mine, Minova ✧ a tender storm dressed in flannel and stardust.

One girl, haunted by demons she never asked for. One girl, holding onto a dream with bleeding hands. One girl, clinging to a life she never was supposed to survive. One girl-and one infuriating woman she was never meant to meet. Aurora Winters, 18, soft-spoken and sweet like spring rain, begins her second last first day of senior year. The wreckage of a car crash last Christmas stole what little safety she had left-leaving her in the bitter care of an aunt who never wanted her and a man who only knows cruelty. Bruised, quiet, alone and unraveling, Aurora is trying to survive the storm. But survival becomes complicated when a certain woman enters the picture. Valentina M. Harlow, 37, new to this part of town, new to the school, old to the weight of the world. Once a sweet girl who ached to be seen, now a woman shaped by silence and cold resolve. Sharp-tongued, guarded, emotionally untouchable, manipulative and entirely disinterested in attachments. She is the oldest daughter who walked away-from blood and businesses, from love, from everything that broke her. It's been seven years since she last let herself feel. And she likes it that way. Until Aurora. What begins as uneasy glances and sharp conversations becomes something far harder to ignore. Valentina sees the pain in the girl's eyes. The bruises beneath the surface. And suddenly, the woman who feels nothing is faced with a choice: walk away as she always has, or reach out-risking everything. This is a tale of longing and danger, where hearts shatter, wounds heal, and reopen. Again and again. A story of two women who were never meant to orbit, yet crash into each other anyway. A story of it all. Of longing that feels like ruin. Of aching that feels like home. Of broken things that refuse to stay broken. A slow unraveling, a dangerous pull. A love that could save-or destroy-them both. Maybe they'll piece themselves back together. And set the world on fire, together.

Harvard graduate Bonita Suárez, aka world famous influencer BoB💋tch, is having the time of her life: elaborate cocktail parties, fabulous fashion shows, photo shooting, luxurious balls, elite clubs, global traveling, and aesthetic vlogging, the list could be endless. Kitty Cohen and Felicity Campbell are soulmates. Fliss has been sure of this ever since they shared a room their freshman year of college, when their friendship emerged fully-formed the moment they met. They've seen it all together: disastrous house shares; shitty post-grad apartments; too many relationships to count. Now everything's about to change. Kitty is getting married and Fliss didn't think she'd be this heartbroken. Levi's a nice guy. He understands his fiancée's friendship, and he and Fliss get along just fine, but he's just a guy. He isn't special enough for Kitty. But then a shaken Kitty turns up on Fliss's doorstep a few weeks before the big day: the wedding is off. Fliss didn't think she would be so relieved to hear that. Weird. The honeymoon is all paid for, though, so Kitty has a proposition: a girls' trip to Las Vegas, just the two of them and two weeks of drinking and overheating and exploring everything Sin City has to offer. Why not, right? Fliss has barely left the east coast and it's about time she took advantage of her company's unlimited PTO. It'll be nice to have an uninterrupted vacation with her favorite person. Then they get to their all-expenses-paid honeymoon suite and the hotel thinks they're married and it's easier to go along with it than explain the situation. It's not like it matters, right? It's a bit of fun. Until, slowly but surely, Fliss realizes her feelings are more than platonic. Maybe they always have been. And now she's stuck sharing a bed with her best friend, who is pretending to be her wife. © Elle Carrigan 2023

Five years ago, Sabrina walked away. She and Anna had been partners at the academy, working side by side on projects that felt like they could change everything. But trust broke, and Sabrina left without saying goodbye. Now she's back, this time as a professor. The academy gave her what she wanted most: a lab, students, and the chance to build again. She didn't come back for the past-she came back for the work. But Anna never left. She stayed, kept working, and made her place at the academy. Seeing her again makes it clear that nothing will be easy. The hurt is still there, and so is the pull between them. A story about broken trust, stubborn pride, and two people who keep finding their way back to each other, whether they want to or not.
