Year 852-So dire is Marley's awakening in the aftermath of Paradis' debacle, deprived of what gives its golden blood pride. When everything dulls and rots in one's hand, each new step forward might be the final one. "Eyes brave, chests full, honest men," they exclaim with straight spines, their hands held up as they seek to conquer the very skies, once witnesses to their rise-yet how honest are they, when none dare face their own reflection?

Conspiracies, distrust and paranoia-all gnawing at that dear facade as whispers of a new world order stir louder and louder.

And yet... it is amidst Glory's death that Vivian Harter, a simple soldier in the Army of a thousand victories, will reclaim herself. "How changed you are," Reiner Braun once admitted after years of silence. "So are you," she whispered in return.

The eternal winter will, at last, taste its own end.
