This started off as a one shot but I got carried away so I think it's just going to be a short story. Usually when I write I make a plot and follow that but for this I'm just winging it and hoping for the best :) 

This story is about how Kellin tried to kill himself but ended up meeting Vic his psychologist. (I'm not good at writing summaries, sorry)

It's been two years since a deadly virus spread all over the world. It destroyed cities, killed people, and split families apart. Now there is zombies roaming around looking for any flesh to sink their teeth into. When he is found by a group of survivors, blooded and bruised, he is pulled into their safe community. He feels out of place though. He wants to escape but one person stops him. Kellin was pulled into a safe zone as soon as the virus started to spread. After two years, they decide that he is ready to go on his first scouting mission. It was suppose to be a regular retrieval of supplies but they find a young man that is on his way to death. Kellin wants to bring this boy back to life. But what if his heart is cloud with darkness? What if the boy is just a shell and is better off dead?

Vic (20) is being sent to a mental institution and is not happy about it. Its for his own good, so his family says. There's so many things that's wrong with him, but doesn't want to believe it. When he's roommates with Kellin (18), a boy who doesn't like to talk to anyone, and is isolated and closed off, spends most of his time drawing; Vic doesn't know what's wrong with his roommate, he simply thinks that Kellin's insane, and that he doesn't belong with someone like Kellin. Vic doesn't think he needs to be in that place at all. But they are forced to spend time with each other. Until the two boys make an unlikely connection they never saw coming. Warnings: I'm saying this now, and it goes toward the entire story; there are going to be a lot of references to suicide and self harm and other mental illnesses and things associated with them so if that makes you uncomfortable then don't read.
