This is a slow-burn Wally/Artemis Young Justice fanfiction, starting with mutual dislike and full of rich, detailed storytelling. The story starts off with them hating each other and then leading to their relationship growing. This story really focuses on both Artemis's and Wally's character and relationship development.
The story may not have chapters that are that long, but i will be making lots of chapters so the story will not be that short.
this is my first fanfic so it may not be the best. AI was used to refine the story but everything was written by me.
DISCLAIMER: This story may have some scenes that may be slightly mature but if you aren't comfortable with them, you can just skip them.

14 year old Jade Knight is the Jester, adopted daughter of The Joker and Harley Quinn. She's been with them since she was a young child but spent a few of those years training with assassins. She is meant to take over the role of being the Joker but to do so she has to kill Robin. Robin is guessed to attend Gotham Academy so Jade is sent there undercover as a new student but finding Robin is harder than it looks. She makes a friend called Dick Grayson and after a while he starts to make the things the Joker and Harley put into her head go away and she sort of changes and realises she doesn't actually want to be the Jester anymore. She finally tells Joker and Harley she doesn't want to be the bad guy anymore but they don't accept it and try to kill her. She's then saved by the league but when she wakes up Joker is gone and left a broadcast announcing that Jade was the Joker, the one thing she feared most of becoming and it breaks her making her loose what's left of her sanity. Nearly two years later she finds out that Dick didn't die and that he was under a new name, Nightwing. But will his return be enough to reverse her being the Joker or will she still stay insane?Complete
