Finding My Way Back to You is a heartfelt coming-of-age journal entry style story set in 2021 about 14-year-old Giavannah. who skips school one day and unexpectedly meets Devin, a quiet boy sitting under an oak tree. A close friendship grows, full of unspoken feelings, until Giavannah moves away during the middle of sophomore year in 2023. They finally admit their love and try long-distance, but break up a few months later in the beginning of 2024.
After a painful fallout and months apart, they reconnect as friends in late 2024. But life spirals again-Giavannah's relationship ends, and she faces a serious mental health crisis. After two hospital stays and years of silent struggles, she begins to heal-with Devin by her side through it all.
By April 2025, she's back home, stronger, and ready for a new beginning. She and Devin finally get back together-this time, no more long distance.
