So when Joshua gets injured, Mingyu graciously agrees to take care of 14-year-old Minghao.
Easy, right?
Wrong.
Minghao is a nightmare. He believes he's a delicate Omega who needs constant affection. He's anxious, terrible at sleeping alone, and fully convinced Alphas are just big teddy bears.
Mingyu tries everything-tea, bedtime stories, bribery-but nothing works.
Until Minghao throws him onto the bed, climbs on top of him, and falls asleep, nuzzled into his chest.
Mingyu short-circuits. Minghao? Dreaming peacefully, oblivious to Mingyu gripping the sheets.
And it only gets worse.
Minghao refuses to sleep anywhere but on top of Mingyu. He steals Mingyu's shirts because they "smell safe." He insists on sitting on his lap because "that's what Joshua and Seungcheol do."
Mingyu suffers.
Meanwhile, in Minghao's mind...
Minghao's life is hard. His brother is injured, and he's stuck in Mingyu's cold, lonely penthouse. Worst of all, Mingyu doesn't know how to take care of a baby Omega.
Joshua and Seungcheol always cuddle him, carry him around, let him scent them-but Mingyu? He's practically having a breakdown every time Minghao touches him.
So Minghao decides to help.
He clings tighter, sleeps on Mingyu's chest, wears his shirts, and even kisses his cheek to "help" the poor, emotionally stunted Alpha.
But Mingyu's reactions keep getting weirder.
One night, Minghao hears Mingyu's heart pounding in his chest while they cuddle. It's sweet. He's really fond of Mingyu too.
When Joshua finally returns, Minghao proudly declares:
"Mingyu is my husband now."
Cue Joshua choking, Seungcheol reaching for a knife, and Mingyu nearly dying of embarrassment.
Minghao doesn't get it. But that's okay-he has all the time in the world to train Mingyu into a proper Alpha.
