Despite the tragedy that took her loving parents away, Lilianna Yvette Gonzaga tried her very best to appear strong, tough, and unbreakable. She aced tests while earning money for herself. She had long fallen to a lie where she believed she didn't need anyone- she couldn't possibly need anyone. Everyday has always been hard for her, but Luigi Ysmael Geronimo was always there to help her carry the burden.

Ysmael's love for the sports, specifically basketball, is what made him the ace of their team: seniors team. He'd been playing it since childhood days, and his skills were really hard to ignore. However, it's no use if the girl he likes only loves books. That's what made him excel in academics- for Lilianna to notice him.

What could possibly go wrong if their paths crossed? Each of them was introduced to a different lifestyle- some are rough, some are soft.

After denying for months, what if, for once, they let themselves just... be? Just feel. Just be free. What if they just give each other a chance? To kiss? To dance? To be together?

But fear consumes its host faster than anyone's expectation. Before you know it- you have already been eaten. Fear is the enemy of hope.
