It has been decades since the the world of despair was built back together into one of hope once more, and it's been less time since the quirk era had began, and less since the last war ended. It was modern times and the world was at peace, the crime rate was low once more, pro hero's around roaming the streets and villains seemed to be less with the help of the hero's..
But in the background despair had risen, a group that found their leader junky enoshima wanted to create a new killing game and follow her, but followed her too much. The hero's and future foundation found them, unfortunately near the end of the game.
Seemingly they arrested all of the despair group and rescued the students in the new virtual reality killing game. Recovery will be a long journey, finding memory's, making them and healing but it will be up to them to fallow hope or sink into despair.
