Theodore is a knight. Well, he will be in a few weeks.
Born with crimson eyes and the Mark of Fire on his neck, Theo is destined to protect the Queen. That is what he has trained for the last seventeen years. However, when he strolls through the forest, he meets a girl with similar hair to his, yet with eyes ever so deeply brown. Sitting alone, in the most dangerous part of the woods, she is braiding flowers to a crown. And then she approaches Theo and places them on his head. She crowns him.
She made him her prince.
He comes back every day in hopes of seeing her again. She talks for hours, and he listens closely. But when Theo has to leave to fulfill his duty, he fears of never seeing her again. And he won't, having to stay close to the soon-to-be Queen, Princess Calida.
Yet there might be a chance. One Theodore will not want to take. A risk that could cost Calida's life.

He also knows his duty would pit him against her, but will thalis choose to follow orders? or will he finally let his morals guide him? Will mireya be ready to face the creatures and their rulers of this realm that she never knew existed? this story is in its draft version currently so any writing being uploaded will be edited, this is just to put ideas to paper.
