Marriage has always been a convenient tool for the great kingdoms. The Hapsburgs to the south had sprouted from the unlikely union of several small kingdoms and the greatest wish of the Soviet king has always been a wife worthy of him. Britannia, locked in intense warfare between the two, has sought peace through these same methods, laying aside their sword and presenting the golden jew of the Britannian Empire - Prince Alfred I. What happens when the ruling kings don't communicate, however? Would it mean double crossing a signed treaty or is there perhaps a way the two newly weds can share?

Our story starts with our three friends. The honorable blue knight has been newly wed to the love of his life. He returns to Steoqapis after his honeymoon in order to catch up his best friend. Meanwhile, in the town over is our lovely, lonely poet, studying for hours and hours day and night. His mysterious destiny awaits. Her Heart Or Her Kingdom?
I stand there glaring at my husband. My Prince. His brown irises swirl, deeply glaring back at my own. "I suggest you listen to me, my princess. I should be in charge of this, it is too dangerous for a woman. I don't want you to get hurt." I hiss crossing my arms against my heavily embroidered half-sari, "This is my kingdom, just because I married you doesn't mean you automatically become King and rule over everything. This threat is targeting my kingdom and I am its Queen." I look seriously at him along with my heart pounding about how my people are going to react. I glance back at him looking at his quiet and reserved nature. You've changed a lot from our childhood. I have too, I have become refined, royally royal and trying to be as perfect a woman as possible. Still, I'm glad you are my husband. He breaks the silence with an icy voice, "Fine, do as you wish. I've grown to love the ship that is United Kingdom x Soviet Union I have no regrets... yet Also, this is a slow burn with other events happening, it's not just SovBrit every chapter. _______________________ The Second World War in europe ended in Nazis defeat, leaving Great Britain, his family as well as the USSR to decide the countries state, which is leading to many discussions that are not that pretty, undoubtedly. With the nuclear war right at the doorstep, the Britain is send out as a representive. Though he has enough going on inside his territory as well in his family, he is willing to save the world from atomic bombs. _______________________ Yeah- everything from cursing to fluff can be found here. Britan, or better known as United Kingdom. As funny the memes are about the colonisation for spices (then refusses to use them); he's a person who'd rather forget his history- more like his family's history-, however being the head of the country that colonised more than one third of the world isn't exactly an easy sin to clean. But hey: the 21's century and the UN says it's going to be peace and love all though out. Not like there is two on-going war and one-to-many civil wars! The only thing he's holding onto his his family, a lesbian best friend and a sunflower. Very healthy coping may I add *sarcastic*. Now there is one thing I forgot to mention: Everyone has powers as Countryhumans. When one of them has the powers to talk and let anyone see the dead, with them using their power is now unearthed problems are headed to Britain. Might as well solve some things before guilt buits up any further.

Princess. All my life, I have been waiting to become Queen, to finally be entitled to the throne. Having sleepless nights, studying hard, practicing etiquette and elegancy, only to be told I have to marry the disgraceful prince in order to get it. This isn't a setback, and I will do anything to get what I want. *-*-* Prince. There were not many responsibilities in my life, I lived it to the fullest and felt free. It wasn't until recently; I was forced to become the next king in line, having weights dumped onto my shoulders. But now having the beautiful princess by my side will make it worth the countless nights. -*-*- Marriage is the final award in a relationship, bonding two souls together forever. But for these two, only the prince looks for love, the princess just seeks power. As they fight for their wants, the truth unveils and tragedy ensues. Thandi always knew she wasn't destined for greatness. She'd never be anything but someone's wife. Nothing would come of her life, so she submitted. She submitted to her father's wrath. Her aunt, however, wanted more for her niece. She knew that if her niece ever wanted to escape her brother, the chief, they needed to play him at his own game. Thandi's aunt knew if she ever wanted her niece to be free from her brother, she needed to keep him away from her for as long as she could. She knew her niece didn't have much of a choice in her future. The only way for Thandi to get some kind of control over her own life is getting married to the man of her choice before her father married her off to the highest bidder. Thandi and her aunt escaped their village to live in the city. They did everything in their power to keep the chief calm and distracted. The only way to do so was for her aunt to promise to teach her how to be a good traditional wife and, most importantly, stay a virgin. That was his biggest rule. Stay a virgin. One drunken mistake causes Thandi to lose her virginity, and her aunt knows the race is on. Either Thandi finds a man that she loves and is willing to submit to, or she marries one of her father's perverted friends. Will Thandi find her knight in shining armor, and if she does, will he be worth it?Complete

And a gravitational pull towards one another that neither can nor want to stop. Alessia: I left everything behind. My home, my brothers, and the boy I loved who was going to take me away from my father's control. However, all that changed the second my father shipped me off to France to marry their new and young King Darian. It's clear he carries the wait of his family on his shoulders. I know our marriage is a sham to appease his court and I am nothing but a pawn always being shifted around my father's game. But what my father doesn't realize is that he made a Queen in his deal.
