My first fic on this site in a really long time,
Odyseidon fic, but it's extremely slow burn
What would happen if Apollo pitied Odysseus for the death of Polites and gave him a vision of what would happen had he not killed the cyclops, Polyphemus?
Odysseus gets a vision just as he's about to defy Athena of killing Polyphemus, the cyclops who killed his best friend. One of the waves unnaturally crashing down on his fleet, drowning 550 men. But as he gets closer to home, he slowly loses himself in the god who was supposed to cause the massacre. Little does this god know, this mortal he's grown to enjoy the company of is the one who killed his son.
Maybe a book 1 of a series, or I'll update the summary further if I make it all 1 book.
