The sky did not fall, it sighed. A long, low exhale, like the world itself had finally grown tired of pretending.
While the world panicked at the light breaking through the clouds, Nyx stood still, unmoving, listening. Where others saw chaos, she heard silence. And in that silence, something came.
The orb descended, not crashing, not burning, but gliding. Peaceful. Purposeful.
She didn't run.
She knew.
Somewhere deep inside, she had always known, this was for her.
