     dear child,
     you, who seek salvation,
     tell me... why do you
     chase the light, when
     darkness suits you so well?

A witch hunt, orchestrated in the 1400s has led Alma into the Pacific Northwest of Washington─where mystery hung heavy, and supernatural runs deep within its forest. There, she meets a coven of vampires who are adamant in eradicating the threat she poses.

But in the hopes of putting an end to her torturous immortal life, she seeks help from her Goddess, essentially offering another immortal in her place─Carlisle Cullen.

When one incident puts her at risk, an encounter sheds light on their quiet connection, compromising whatever morals and beliefs she holds against the immortal doctor who can't seem to let her go. So she must choose all at once─protect or sacrifice?
