I saw a mod for minecraft, that allows you to interact with monsters in a visual novel kind of way. I loved the slime girl, her design and personality scripts in general. I had some ideas so I started to write.
It is about a knight's adventure with an odd companion. Where will their journey lead them? What will they discover? Find out, I wanna see how it goes too :3.

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game. The PoV is from the Commander instead of said OC so we get to see more fun things than "oh god he's hot. Oh god I'm gay. Oh god." Instead we get stuff like "Woah cool bugs. Ha ha cute monsters!
