Amanda is a 16 year old. Her twin brother, her family and her all move to the USA from Australia. She is totally against the idea. But on her first day of her new school she meets two boys named Jordan and Joe. Her and her father use to be really close when she was little but it all changed one day. Her father started beating her and only her. That makes her feel like he's no longer her dad and now calls him by his name Max. Things this year will change but will they change for better or worse?
