They will encounter other emotions in the headquarters or even in the long-term memory and some would like to get rid of Joy, Anger, Anxiety and Fear. But they won't let it happen and they will do anything to protect Riley and their work.

Fear starts out terrified of Sophia-partly due to his intense fear of clowns and creepy things-but as the story unfolds, that fear slowly begins to fade.
