"AfterLife" is a story of serene melancholy between two lovers, who choose to love each other beyond life. Rendering the hearts of the half-dead and half-alive - the story is a contemplation of thoughts and feelings that result in everlasting love and transcend the boundaries of time, even in the face of death and mortality. The story showcases the enduring nature of love, even after death; and portrays 'love' as the only natural force acting as the sole guardian of human beings, and their souls.
"AfterLife" is the author's debut short story and depicts the classical themes of love, death, and melancholy in a paranormal setting.
