This is my first time writing a story ever so I'm ready for constructive criticism!

Medieval times
Kinda slow burn :p

In the kingdom of Eiyuden, there are three undeniable truths:

1. Princess Akio is the strongest warrior in the realm.

2. She doesn't need anyone's protection-especially not a knight.

3. And she absolutely does not have feelings for the silver-haired menace assigned to guard her.

But when the King hires the infamous Gojo Satoru-a cocky, insufferable, devastatingly beautiful knight to keep her "out of trouble," war breaks out.

A war of wit.
Of clashing swords.
Of stolen glances and slow dances and forbidden balcony cries.

She's stubborn.
And together, they're everything the court whispers about... and everything they swear they aren't.

But feelings don't follow rules.
And neither do they.

So when kisses start replacing threats, and when the princess starts choosing him in the quiet moments she used to face alone,

She has to ask herself:

What happens when the girl who never needed saving... starts falling for the one who never asked to be her hero?
