I pushed him back, guilt washing over me.
"I was correct, you are my mate," i said, walking around my desk and in front of him, leaving some space when every part of me wanting to taste every part of him.
"How exciting, my life partner to be the one I despised my whole life," he said stepping closer to me, closing the distance between us, his warm breath pressed against my neck.
"I know you've been waiting for me and I'm all yours," he whispered in my ear.
"Are you challenging me alpha," I spoke, trying not to give in to my enemy even if I was ready to explore his whole body, leaving my scent all over him and only him, I only needed him.
"If it's a challenge you want, then challenge accepted, I already know your more whipped for me than I am for you," he said as I scoffed. His eyes now focused on mine.
"I'll have you know that you'll be practically begging for my attention, I know you can't wait to mark me, mate with me, for me to be all yours and no one else," he smirked at my statement, a chuckle escaping his lips.

Alaric: "I want you."
Zevian stepped closer, voice low. "Louder."
