Unmarried purebloods were forced to marry muggle borns, half bloods and blood traitors. Love never came first. Starting was a struggle.

Ministry of Magic decree 47207572; The Marriage Law ~All subjects have 4 months to get married and then 5 months after that to get pregnant. ~Tests have been done on all subjects between the ages of 17 and 27. ~All subjects have been matched with other Wizards/ Witches or muggle families that know of the wizarding world ~Most subjects are paired by who they will be most successful reproducing with. Minor setbacks and medical problems have occurred ~Several subjects have no ability to reproduce and have therefore been taken out of the running for the law - letters already sent out to notify subjects ~Several subjects also still suffer from the after effects of the war, some crippling the subjects enough so their sent to St. Mungos or are hospitalized permanently for said injuries ~One particular pair of subjects have been previously married and now are separated but not divorced, still waiting for the decision on that matter.
