This book is full of poems I've written from the heart. I've always wanted to share them not just to express myself, but to see if others out there might relate.
Out of respect for the time, emotion, and effort I poured into this, I kindly ask that no one copies or steals my work. If you do, I will take action to copyright and protect what's mine. I worked hard on these poems, and I hope you'll respect that.

COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. Nothing is ever solid or at least their perspective will change as I write the poem or rewrite it. Anyways enjoy, I try not to be too pretentious but I don't really care because again this is a vent piece of work.Concluída

Hi guys!! My name is Nyia and I'm kinda new to this "author" and "publishing my own work" type of thing. But a good friend and of mine and fellow Wattpadder (by the name of AshleyPCole if you don't know her go follow and read her works as well) convinced and inspired me to post my own works so that's what I'm here to do. You've read poetry, you've heard of Spoken Word, but you've never felt MY poetry and heard MY words. There's emotion (tons of that to be quite frank), there's lyricism, there's basically something in my writing for everybody and I'm sure you'll find it and fall in love with it. Plus, no one has really known about the pieces that I am about to share with you, so consider yourselves some lucky readers . Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. I write these poems and share them with you because i hop that they will help you get through difficult situations about love, self-harm or suicide. I hope you all like these poems. WHEN THE RAIN FORGOT TO FALL
I wrote this because I needed to survive it. Because there are some feelings too big for silence. Some heartbreaks too heavy to carry alone. This isn't fiction. This is my heart, broken open and rearranged into verse. "I saw you standing where the sidewalk curves, and suddenly my chest knew different words." - That's how it started. A glance. A stranger. A feeling I couldn't ignore. "You said we needed to talk. Those five words, I knew. I already knew." - And that's how it ended. Not with fire. With silence. I won't tell you that time heals all wounds. I won't say everything happens for a reason. I won't pretend heartbreak makes you stronger. But I will show you that: You can survive what you think will destroy you. You can break and still become beautiful. You can love someone and lose them and still be whole. You can be your own happy ending. I wrote these poems with tears on my face. I wrote them on good days when I forgot to hurt. Every word is something I actually felt. Every line is a moment I actually lived. "You are not broken. You are breaking open. And that's where the light gets in." - That's what this taught me. "I pretend I never loved you I will pretend it was never the easiest thing to do I will pretend that I'm over it Pretend I am over you But no one has a fucking clue And I'll throw my popcorn away. Hide my face. Wipe away my tears. I wasn't special enough And that is alright by me." ------------------------ At this point this collection of poems is almost like a diary. I always hated poetry. I like people who are direct and honest. And that's how I prefer literature. I believed myself to be bad at double meanings and metaphors and hated pretty words to cover up the ugly reality. Yet, I found myself being fascinated by it. I think it's the most vulnerable side of me. Wanting to communicate through a medium I think little of and yet understands me. It has no structure. It can be messy and yet beautiful. It's allowed to be unpolished. Wrong quotations. Or even lacking any. At this point in my life I feel like everything I thought was right to be wrong and so maybe something wrong could be right. You haven't even asked for this. And still you know it now.
