Lucky God System Vol. 1: Child of Luck

Elias Graves has always been lucky-ridiculously lucky. The kind of luck that lets him dodge disasters by inches, find money in vending machines, and escape trouble without trying. The problem? That luck seems to come at the cost of everyone around him.

After his parents mysteriously vanish, Elias finds himself pursued by a shadowy organization with far too many secrets. In the chaos, he accidentally activates a strange magical artifact-and gains something impossible: the Lucky God System, a mysterious interface that promises strength, skills, and survival... by lucky draws.

But as Elias dives deeper into the system's origins and faces enemies far beyond his level, he begins to question the cost of being chosen and realizes that having good luck was a double edged sword.

Author Note:
This is my for funsies story. I wanted to try the whole system fantasy subgenre. I hate a lot of common tropes in the genre and wanted to write a story without them, like the braindead villains, harems of women who are only there for eye candy and falling head over heels for the main character, side characters with no substance other than to serve as foil for the main character. The main character who literally gets a system for no reason or explanation.

I do hope you guys like it, but I won't be too hurt if you don't. I'm making this for my own fun and not trying to make an award winning novel or anything.
