15 year old Greg Wright is in a right state. His Dad killed in a helicopter crash, his Mum in a coma, Greg is sent to live with his Great Uncle Archie who he has not only never met, but who he did not know even existed. Forced to leave the city, Greg moves from Bristol to a small Cornish fishing village smack bang in the middle of his GCSE exams.
Left with no friends, no family, no Lindsay Mancini (ah, Lindsay Mancini...), Greg gets heavily into video games and angst and even sort of makes friends, against his better judgement, with Michael Parkinson, Uncle Archie's stinky ginger tomcat.
When Greg gets invited to play in the "Kart-toons" racing game world championships in France, he jumps at the chance. He practises every day, he becomes UK number one and he's all set...except for one small detail. With no money and no way to make or borrow any, France seems like another planet and Greg gives up hope. That is, until three days before the contest when he discovers plans to build a small sailing boat online, and, behind Uncle Archie's back, he sets about making his dreams come true...
Elliot Jensen and Elliot Fintry have a lot in common. They share the same name, the same house, the same school, oh and they hate each other but, as they will quickly learn, there is a fine line between love and hate.
