You were my muse before you knew it, my peace before I deserved it, and my favourite part of every day - even now. These poems, these thoughts, this whole book... It's everything I felt but never knew how to say. Even now, as just friends, I carry you in all my quiet moments. Every word, every sentence, and every story in this book has been beautifully assembled over time, with love and care. This book is my return ticket to the past, to the moments and feelings that I once had. It is a way for me to revisit the people I once loved, but had to let go of. It is my way of reconnecting with the ones I have lost touch with, and reliving the memories we shared. Through these words, I have poured my heart out and bared my soul.
