Sakura panted. She could feel her breathing under him, as she finally gave up pounding her darkened fists upon his chest.

He still hadn't changed from before. The boy with beautifully carved onyx eyes, staring back at her. They weren't so cold anymore--they felt--light.

Seven years since the countdown for the Shinobi World War IV. Seven cold years since she had seen him, that duck-butt hair no longer similar to the sixteen-year-old version of him--his hair had surprisingly gone straight. Still, it spoke of the nights he was gone. The nights spent in vain, since he was never around the village.

"Tell me that child is mine." Sasuke said, without looking at her. "Sakura, look at me."

"What??"

"Is she ours?"

Sakura crossed her arms in bravery. She covered her mouth to prevent a tear. "She 'is' your daughter." She continued, "but she was never mine."
