This is my official entry for the 8Letters Urban Fiction Challenge for June 2025.
In a city built from smoke and struggle, three lives cross paths, Sofie, a quiet artist haunted by her past; Lian, a barker who learned to steal before he learned to dream; and Lance, a rapper with a voice shaped by grief and rage. Sa mga eskinita ng Maynila, where danger is constant and hope is a rare currency, they find each other and themselves.
This is a story of survival, second chances, and the quiet rebellion of choosing softness in a world that hardens.

Stories dealing with the loss of a loved one, the horrors of reality, about the challenges faced in life, a longing for the person we loved, the laughter shared in-between, the hopes we treasure for tomorrow and beyond and of the little interactions that happen in life. It is through the attachments, love, support, consistency, determination and dreams do we find the will to push through and accomplish what needs to be done that is set out for us to tackle. Goals and art; sacrifices made and understood; and the belief that chasing the dream is all worth it and that it helps us connect and inspire us to do what matters the most. She's mesmerized by the beauty of the moon, but she also needs to see the beauty of the sunset. "Sunset is breathtaking, right?" Rose said while looking intently at sunset. "No, the moon is much more beautiful than the sunset." Rachel said it while looking at Rose. * "No, please. I'm so sorry. Please forgive me, Rose." she's saying it while her knees are on the ground and holding her hands. "Let me go. I don't want to see you right now, Rachel," she said while looking at the sunset and silently crying. Unti-unti, bumibitaw siya sa mga kamay ni Rachel at tumalikod na pilit pinapatatag ang kaniyang nararamdaman. On the other hand, Rachel is looking at the sunset habang ang buwan ay unti-unti nang nagpapakita. Dito, hindi niya maiitanggi na mas nagustuhan niya pa rin ang buwan kaysa sa sunset. Si Syeon Blake Alcazar ay isang mahirap lang wala na rin siyang kasama sa buhay. Kasi ang mom and dad niya ay namatay dahil sa sumabog na eroplano papunta sa business trip. Actually hindi naman talaga siya mahirap lumayo lang ang loob niya sa mga relatives niya dahil sa hindi niya gusto ang mga ugali nito na kahit ang ipinamana ng kanyang mga magulang ay kinuha sa kanya. Pero hindi na siya nag habol pa dahil mas gusto niya ang katahimikan pero meron siyang isang pinsan na close na close niya siya si Drake Alcazar tinuturing niya itong kuya. Si Drake ay isang business tycone mayaman ito pero kahit anung tulong ang inooffer niya ky Syeon ay hindi ito tinatanggap isa na dito ang pag aaral ni syeon pero tumatanggi ito dahil ayaw niya ng mag aral kasi ayaw niya sa mga tao. Pero meron siyang dalawang kaibigan na ang turingan nila sa isat' isa ay kapatid. Mayaman din ang nga kaibigan nito pero kahit anung mang yaman o kahirap ka sa buhay ay hindi nila ito hinuhusgahan. Si Syeon ay hindi rin naniniwala sa pag ibig dahil hindi naman siya interesado dito until she meet the professor of her friends na kasama rin ang mga gusto ng kaibigan nyang mga professor. Hindi rin alam ng mga kaibigan niya na nag sisikap siya sa buhay na siya mismo ang bumubuhay sa sarili niya ang alam lang nila ay binibigyan siya ng pera ng pinsan nyang si Drake pero hindi dahil siya mismo ang nag hahanap buhay para sa sarili niya ng hindi rin alam ng kaibigan niya kung anu ang trabaho niya dahil hindi niya ito pinapaalam.Complete
