This is an original novel that I created, but it is inspired by the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and has beliefs similar to that franchise. It's have been wanting to write something like this for awhile, as I feel like there are too many 'main character doesn't know what they are and come into a royal life and blah blah blah' and I feel like having a new trope helps with originality. Coms with me on this journey! (or not I can't tell anyways)

Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. How will the mystery unfold and how will Zelda and Link achieve their dreams? I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description. But I think I write stories better than I write summaries I promise haha... ~Clean and appropriate for most ages~ There will be some minor blood and other descriptions that may be disturbing for young people. A Cinderella meets Legend of Zelda, but the roles are reversed. Instead of a prince looking for his princess, the princess Zelda must balance her duty with her desires. Instead of a young maiden turned maid, Link is stuck protecting his younger sister from their evil stepfather and stepbrothers. News of the reincarnation of Ganondorf is given to the royal family. The young Princess Zelda is pushed harder than ever to unlock her sacred sealing power, while also expected to hide this terrifying information from her kingdom. But all she wants is to pursue her passion of studying the flora and fauna of Hyrule. As a son of a royal knight, Link has a fighter's spirit. When his father died from an untimely illness, his mother had to marry in order to provide for her two children. Shortly after, she passed, too, leaving Link and his sister to their stepfather. Link was forced to do the household chores if he wanted his stepbrothers to keep their hands off his sister. The Legend of Zelda: The Seals Of Fate
A story set in an untold age of the Zelda timeline. Follow Vormund, a soldier of the Hylian Guard, and his companions as they are thrust into a dangerous journey that will take them across the land of Hyrule. A mission that will see them come toe to toe with some of the most fearsome monsters that have threatened the land of Hyrule. This is a story of Friendship, Peril, Loss and Bravery. The cast of characters consists of original characters and familiar characters, with the focus being on the former. Author's Notes: I'm a big fan of the Zelda series, having grown up in the 90's OOT kick-started my love for gaming and adventure. However, as I have grown older, I have found myself really wanting the series or even Link to mature as I have matured. Instead of waiting and hoping, I decided to pour my dreams for this franchise into a series of books. This is book one of my series.
