Lake Bodom homicide

I might write a short story about this idea I have

So basically, a band of young metal musicians gained recognition in the underground scene and set out to play a couple of shows in Northern Europe. On their way to Helsinki, they found out that the show was cancelled for "safety reasons" and they ran into another problem- they ran out of gas because they were irresponsible little bastards. The teenagers were absolutely petrified, until they found a newly opened campsite nearby. They decided to drive with the little gas they had and headed over to the campsite. It was a property of several small, portable houses beside the lake known as Lake Bodom. 60 years ago, 4 teenagers were brutally murdered here, the case unsolved. The vocalist happened to be a huge Children of Bodom fan and deemed this all "part of history". The other members were a bit uneasy in this atmosphere while he was excited to spend time in the place which inspired his favorite band's name. They settled down and did some stupid shit while they looked for ways to continue their journey tomorrow. However, things had to take a dark turn. Lake Bodom had to take new lives. At night, the power went out and a homicidal maniac broke into the building with a scythe (reaper weapon) in hand. The teenagers scrambled and managed to run for cover, calling the police in secret. However, the life of the vocalist's girlfriend was taken. After returning to their hometown, they disbanded. The vocalist developed severe PTSD and had to be hospitalized. The other members were trying to console him. They knew, alas, that the band was done.
