Owen killed hundreds of demons in his lifetime. It makes sense that he could've accidentally killed something else, too. Something else that was posing as a demon, but was most definitely not. It would make sense that the consequences would come back to bite him.
Apo always looked for other intelligent beings out there like humans, angels, and demons. People called him crazy. What if he wasn't?
What if there was more out there? What if it came for the outsiders?

I combined Outsiders SMP with D&D, a strong paranormal element, some gremlin ocs, and my unrealistic wish of everyone to survive.

Basically, the plot of How to Train your Dragon but with Outsiders SMP characters. This is a story centered around the war between Demons and Humans. Owen was trained to be a demon hunter at a young age, and after years of fighting, he's set his sights on the rarest, most powerful demon of all. This AU shows potential that c!Owen regretted what he did. I believe that, the character of Owen who died in the cell could not be redeemed. However, since Rasbi, Guts, and Apo(mostly Apo and Rasbi) deserved better, I made that possible in this story. In this story Owen will know how his actions affected people in the clearing, such as Apo, Rasbi, and even Magic at the end of his life. c!Owen, of course, could have regretted it at the end, but in my opinion, it seems unlikely. The ghost of his past
Hitoshi Shinso was a regular, sleepy depressed orphan. He had no parents but he wasn't sad about it. He had finally got into the hero course, earlier than expected, all thanks to his mentor. That's how Shinso's high school life took a turn for the worse, or better even. Finding out you can see your mentor's dead best friend is trying to reach for the living again, or even to be seen by the rest of the living, and knowing that there is a way can be surprising for most. Shinso is a responsible man, enough to know he should tell someone, but this could be the special 'thank you' he owes. But would he slowly distance himself from the people who truly care?
