The daily routine of UP Manila student Novella Banaag during her junior year is composed of three actions: first, she'll (attempt to) make her lunch and get ready for school; second, she'll go to school and attend classes, even help her father when she can with his business; third, she'll go home, study, and rest, or sometimes, she'll party with her friends. Pretty simple and easy to follow. But when she begins to take an interest among one of her father's customers, October Chali Luy, the routine she built will slowly disintegrate as October permeates her heart.
They say the classics never really went away. Like those red doll shoes that somehow manage to never go out of style. My guess is you can still spot at least one of these in this day and age:
1. A vinyl of Billy Joel's Piano Man spinning on your college roommate's desk
2. Love letters scribbled on the backs of postcards
(Or) 3. A stack of developed film photos resting on your coffee table
For Ian Decalion, his memory of a classic goes like this:
1. A yellow-orange tint spilling over the sea
2. The butter-yellow sundress
(And) 3. A haunting seven-year love he never confessed... to a girl who's bound to break everyone's heart anyway
My guess again? Some classics are just meant to last and haunt you for a lifetime.
