I spent junior year chasing grades and hiding in the back row. He spent it lighting up every hallway he walked down.

I don't know when it happened, only that it did - slowly, like falling asleep at your desk and waking up in someone else's dream.

I fell for him.

And he'll never know.

Guilt is a quiet story of falling hard for someone who doesn't see you that way - or maybe doesn't see you at all.
