The Found Fruit

Sayaka Yoshida, a normal girl for the most part, shy, but more empathic and selfless than most. Having learned to force herself to open up, she's become rather popular with others but close with no one. Youko Nakajima, her class president has always caught her attention, something about her just drew her in, a sense of familiarity she's never felt with anyone else, not even her family. She tried to be her friend, but Youko always kept people at arm's length, so Sayaka respected it. But that never stopped her from being friendly.

One day when a mysterious man appears in their class trying to kidnap Youko, Sayaka isn't going to let her leave with this man, at least not alone. Now her, Youko and two other classmates somehow ended up in a world similar to ancient China along with mythical beasts trying to kill them at every turn.
