"You always look at me like that, " he murmured, "Like what?" she asked, "Like I'm the only thing keeping you breathing, " he said. Freya and Oliver navigate a world torn apart by infection, violence, and mutated horrors. As siblings, their deep bond becomes their greatest strength, helping them survive the physical dangers and emotional trauma that plague every step of their journey. From reanimated corpses to scenes of cannibalism, they face brutal realities with only each other to rely on. They find temporary refuge in an abandoned lodge, but peace is fleeting. The lodge is haunted by infected beings-some of whom were once people they knew. Their grief deepens after losing a child named Hope, whom they had taken in and come to love. Still, their shared sorrow brings them closer, and in rare quiet moments, they begin to rediscover joy. As spring arrives, they plant seeds outside the lodge-a symbol of fragile hope. But new threats continue to emerge. The infected evolve, becoming deadlier, and Freya's protective instincts about Oliver grow stronger. Their relationship shifts as they begin to accept a new, unconventional family dynamic that even includes some infected who remain eerily human. Freya soon undergoes a strange transformation, developing feline traits that blur the line between human and other. With Oliver's support, she learns to accept this new part of herself and channel its strength. Together, they journey into a decaying city filled with relentless dangers. Fighting side by side, they draw power from their connection, refusing to let the world tear them apart. Their story is one of grief, survival, and unbreakable love. Amid chaos and despair, Freya and Oliver hold on to the one thing the infection can't take-their bond, and the hope for something better.

Home Isn't A Place. In a post-apocalyptic world infested with infected creatures that were once human, Wren Levy and her best friend Belle Rose survive the apocalypse. Or so we hope. They grow to adapt to the new circumstances and situation they must outlive. And although it's hard, friendship keeps their heads high. On a quest to find necessities and food, they run into another duo not quite as chaotic as them. Let's hope they beat the shit out of the upcoming events. //// "Okay, you go first." She gestured to the latch. I looked back at her, "why don't you go first?" "Because I'm older then you." By a month and a day... "Shouldn't that mean you go first, Miss responsibility." I smirked. There was a moment of silence between the two of us. This happens a lot, we just don't say anything, yet it says so much. "Just go before I shove you down." She laughed shoving me a little. I giggled and opened the latch, aiming my gun down, "it looks clear." I carefully climbed down the latter and aimed my gun immediately. "Any of you fuckers out here?" I asked, circling my vision around the hideout. "Is it good?" I heard Belle ask from inside. "Yes, you can come down your highness." I laughed, watching as she made her way down. "Thanks, peasant." She smirked. //// Just read it dude, it was fun to write since it's based off of me and my best friend.
