Ever since the day Kai first saw that quiet, bullied girl across from his blacksmith shop, something in him had changed. He couldn't name it at the time - it wasn't dramatic or loud, just a subtle shift, like a breeze that gently turns the flame in a forge. But from that moment on, the world seemed a little different. Maybe it was the way her eyes held strength behind the tears, or how her silence spoke louder than the jeers of those around her. But it isn't a real butterfly, no, it's one that looks to be made of golden mist, of trickery. And yet, here it is. Gently flying around my tornado as if it were a happy day in the sun.
