Where's the car? Where were you?" Viktor rambled, worriedly rushing over. Jayce was crying. He stood still, sniffling as tears fell down his frozen cheeks. Viktor tried touching him, but his hand went right through. His face dropped as he watched Jayce, who finally spoke. "I'm so sorry," Jayce whispered. "I'm trying so hard. I'll be home soon." "Sorry? For what? What did you do? And what do you mean you're trying? How long is soon!?" Viktor's questions sounded more like pleas as he desperately tried to hang onto Jayce, fingers slipping past the blue hue covering him. "I love you, Viktor." Jayce's body slowly faded away. "Jayce? Jayce, no, what's going on? I don't understand!" "You will." --- OR: Viktor gets diagnosed with a terminal illness after he and Jayce get married.
