Reize Elkophin, a Russian forensics examiner working with Moscow Police Department, actively hides a dark secret from her fellow officers.

Every case is clean, no fingerprints, no murder weapon in sight, and no trace of the murderer. No one would ever expect one of their own forensic examiners to be behind the twenty-four murder cases raging through Moscow and growing closer and closer to the Czar's palace.
