Katsuki Bakugou had been born deaf. He didn't remember the world ever sounding any different than it did now-quiet, muffled, and pulsing with a rhythm only he seemed to follow. He could feel vibrations, read lips decently, and use sign language fluently. But words? Words were distant things. Everyone else lived in noise, while he lived in silence.
Izuku didn't stare like the others. Didn't whisper. He just... watched. Not in a creepy way, but with this gentle curiosity, like he wanted to understand. Katsuki caught him looking during homeroom, and then again during introductions, and again when they broke into pairs for quirk assessments.

Izuku always gets home exhausted and burries himself in work as if there is no tomorrow. He's doing what he loves and what he has always wanted, but then why does it feel empty and lonely? One day he gets a message for a 8 year reunion from his classmates. He's so excited to see every single one of them, hoping to get rid of the emptiness. Athough one person, he's hesitant about seeing: Kacchan, but he still replies with a positive answer, not knowing that night would change his life forever. Deaf Bakugo AU Red string AU In the beginning of their 3rd year at UA, Bakugo finally looses his hearing. In a state of panic he pushes everyone away. Since this horrible accident happened all of a sudden, no one really knew how to deal with it or even help him. All except one. The only person who haf anxiously waited for this day. Eager to help his friend, he teaches his whole class Japanese sign language. After a couple months almost the whole class is fluent, Bakugo has gone back to school and got a cochlear implant so he can hear again but he doesn't really like it it. Follow his story on his road to recovery, discovery, love, and sadness. I plan to make this a short story with two endings. It gonna be about 10 chapters, 12 at mostمكتمِلة

He notice that he have better senses, he feel more connected to nature, and when he fall asleep he becomes a wolf!? Izuku Midoriya, the boy who once saved him, stood just out of reach, not because of distance, but because Bakugo couldn't find the strength to touch him. Izuku didn't ask for his forgiveness. He only wanted to be close, to be near the person who had hurt him most. But Bakugo was afraid. Katsuki Bakugou was almost completely deaf. He could barely hear his own explosions anymore, but that didn't stop him from trying to become a pro hero. He couldn't wait to prove everyone wrong when they said he couldn't be a hero because of his hearing loss. He manages to pass the UA entrance exams and gets accepted, along with his childhood friend, Midoriya. They're placed in class 1-A with the luck that the home room teacher actually knows asl. The transition from middle school to high school isn't the smoothest. Navigating through high school and the pro hero world is hard for someone with all five senses, let alone someone who couldn't hear. Katsuki stumbles... a lot. When Midoriya catches him staring at the duel haired boy in their class during training, he's quick to tease him for it. They sign quickly, Katsuki's movements for aggressive than normal. They gain the attention of Shoto Todoroki, who in turn, stares back. It was obvious that they were signing about him, but he had no clue what they were saying. Katsuki catches on to the staring and signs at him, even though he can't understand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Katsuki turns to the taller boy, clearly in a pissed off mood. "Yes, I am signing about you." He signs at him, knowing that he won't understand him anyway. Midoriya's laugh was heard through the training ground as he saw what his friend signed. Shoto looked at him, completely lost. "He says that yes, he is signing about you." He translated. Understanding takes over Shoto's features as Katsuki realizes what Midoriya must have just done.
