The Grey Hand

Andhera is a broken kingdom.

They had a good king, once. But the burdens of ruling were too much, the cost of his failure too high. And so he left them, as did the rest of the royal family. Since then, Andhera has been hard, even impossible, to survive in. Those with magic are shunned and treated as outcasts, and those without ties to the noble family are ignored and treated as less than dirt.

Something has to change, and all the people know it. But things have been like this for so long that even hope is dead to them. The people of Andhera are set in their ways, accepting of their fate. Surely there is nothing better for them than this?

However, one man will arise to restore Andhera to the nation she once was. One man, who dreams of restoring order and peace from the way things once were. One man who dreams of taking revenge on those who took his beloved from him.

And one prince, the youngest and weakest of the High Court, may yet find the courage to stand on the side of change. And he may yet have the opportunity to save his world.
