Messed Up is a tale of an indo -american girl named Emerald Greene. This story is based on a life of a nerk (nerd + jerk) about how she faces the teenage problems arousing every now and then in her life. Basically, it deals with her life and views experiences regarding friendship and the way she changes herself inorder to move on in this fake and mean world. It highlights major problems in teenage I.e. friendship, betrayal, body image, sexual tension, etc.
