At the age of 17, Donovan "Donnie" Callan thought he was a normal human being like everyone else until one day, he found out that he's an Alpha-human with the ability to run at superhuman speed. Donnie also found out that his father, Jared Callan is the Alpha-human superhero speedster, Mach Man. Jared trained him and taught him how to use his powers to fight crime and other Alpha-humans like him.
Now, Donnie is working at Guardian Corps as a mechanical engineer after he graduating from college. His father retired and passed his responsibilities to Donnie. He uses what his father taught him to become Reagan City's new protector, Fast-Dash.
