The Manuscript of Exit

Trapped in the endless cycles of the Entity's realm, Alan Wake awakens from the Dark Place only to find he's under a new cosmic jailor-the Entity, which overpowered the darkness that once fed on his stories. Held captive alongside desperate survivors and bloodthirsty killers, Alan tries to do the only thing he knows-write. But the Entity twists every word.

When a particularly brutal trial ends, Alan finds traces of something outside the Entity's influence. It comes from a man with white hair and ghoul's eyes: Ken Kaneki. The Entity starves Kaneki to maintain control, but his humanity remains buried, not gone. Alan realizes Kaneki is the key to protecting the survivors long enough to mount a real escape.
