Luna has never made it through a flight without nearly passing out. So when a family emergency forces her onto a plane for the first time in years, she's already one breath away from a full-blown panic attack. Captain David Walker doesn't do nervous passengers. Especially not the kind who cause delays, challenge protocol, or ask too many questions. He's got his own reasons for keeping things strictly professional, and a very firm no-romance policy at 30,000 feet. But when a twist of fate puts Luna on David's flight again...and again...and again, they're forced into a reluctant sort-of friendship that starts to feel a lot like more. From turbulence in the skies to layovers that linger too long, Luna and David begin to learn that the scariest part of flying isn't the height - it's letting go. She's terrified of the sky. He's afraid to come down. And love? That was never part of the flight plan.
