He was just like any other kid. Ordinary.
Warm-hearted, smiled beautifully, and the beloved of his family.
He thought that he would continue living that way. A usual way.
But one day, he saw something that made him question his view of the world.
“God exists?”
“Please repeat that—are you Hermes? Not the brand, but HERMES?”

Unlikely Heroes
Humans have forgotten, or are just ignorant. Perhaps they just moved on from the past. That's unfortunately not the case for most Demigods. Children of mortals and Gods. Zeus, Poseidon, to a lesser extent Hades, and other Olympian Gods... most Gods have laid with mortals. While some Demigods are claimed, other are not. In camp Half-Blood they train and live to survive the many danger of being a Demigod/Half-Blood. ~ I do not own Percy Jackson or it's story. Only my own ideas and characters. ~ Note: I have not read the books or seen all the movies. I do know of the general story line, which I will follow. This story will most likely differ in many specific dialogue or some quirks of the characters. I will try to stay true to them, but a few things may differ. First Arend Vitalis found a robotic weapon created by God. Then he fell in love with her. Next, he realized he wanted to destroy the world, and watch as everything around him died. An indeterminate amount of time in the future, the apocalypse has come and gone - and only humans remain on the earth. After the disaster known only as the Collapse, the extremely small population clings to life in ruined cities thanks to advanced technology. In a world blanketed in wastelands, existence is but an empty shell of what it once was, and time continues unabated. A boy in this age has looked around himself and seen only hopelessness and sorrow. After years of inner struggle, he has finally come upon the conclusion that humanity is destined only for destruction, and that he wants to witness this end. Soon afterwards he comes across the power of God himself and must decide if the human race deserves salvation and rebirth - or if he will bring about its end with his own hands.
