In the future, a certain race of people can only work at night, " For safety reasons", they say. Jayla and Quante don't buy it. When glowing portals open in their closets, they start slipping into the past: secret photo shoots in abandoned libraries, marches that feel too familiar, moments on the edge of being erased.

But the more they travel, the more they realize time isn't just a loop-it's a thread. And someone's pulling at it.
