At the end of the peir

After Madeline hears the news that she has to move in with her mom she hasn't seen in 9 years, she gets upset and says something's to her dad that are in excusable once she gets to her moms in California they don't get along very well. So Madeline runs away noticing that she runs off the end of a peir and starts to drown. Will she get saved? And will her parents ever forgive her?
